I got implants through the nipple and didn't take mind a look after of the scars right away. it's been 7 months now and my scars are pretty bad. i have been putting Mederma daily and massaging it, but it at best doesn’t seem to be working. Is there a surgical procedure that get's rid of scaring? I need help!

How Do I Get Rid Of Surgical Scars?

I have a few surgical scars on my fa, legs and arm from being hit by a car in Nov. of 2004 so the scars are fairly old. I just bought viatimin E oil today (not capsule or pain in the neck but kind from walmart oil in bottle). mederma is expensive on my budget. does anyone recollect if vitamin e will work or if there is something else i can look into?

Answer: When it first happened vitamin e may have minimized the aspect of the scars but if you say they are almost 4 years old then I don't think it will help much. Neither would the merderma so don't waste your money. Your skin has already healed that way. You can put it on there if you wish to . It won't hurt you and anything is worth a try but don't expect much. I am sorry.

What Can I Put On Surgical Scars To Help My Skin?

I had laparoscopic sauce bladder surgery and my gall bladder was removed. This was a few months ago and my wounds are all healed. They are pure cuts, but my skin is very fair and the scars are bright red. The scars are still tender. Is there any topical ointment I can appertain that would help reduce tenderness and red color?

Answer: Vitamin E oil helps. There are also commercial disfigurement formuas on the market you can try.

I have 4 scars from 2 surgeries on my belly. I'd extremely like to be able to wear bikinis in the summer without them showing.

I've had knee surgery twice and its leftist me with the ugliest scars ever! With Summer coming up...Im trying to figure out the best way to fade them. Ive tried Mederma, it didn't vocation....any other suggestions!?

Answer: There are numerous (albeit up-market) surgical scar removal cremes at your local pharmacy. I've heard some people application miracles with Vitamin E oil especially when in the healing process. I've also heard aloe vera gel can labour.
