I'm everything considered a short scar lift, in my mid-fifties, and want to know if you were happy, how long it lasts, was there any detectable scarring left in the area of incision, how long did you stay out of work, etc...? Thanks.
Answer: My Old lady had one done...she swelled little around the area she was cut, no scars, she was out of work for about a week I believe....she got it done about 6 months ago and looks remarkable.

My mom had the short scar facelift done almost 3 weeks ago, and she seemed to be healing easy on the eyes well. Then, late last week, her left ear has become very swollen and the incisions don't seem to be healing properly...now there is a lot of lump and bleeding behind her ear....she is in quite a bit of pain too. She did get antibiotics, but her plastic surgeon and affiliate are both on vacation and she can't get a hold of anyone as to what she should do. Any suggestions as to what may help??
