Me and 3 of my roomies were watching "Invent Runway" last night with the supermodel Heidi Klum as the host.
2 of my roomies are ashen. And one is a dark skinned black girl.

Answer: It was a very imperfect comment, and I would have called her out on it politely. Don't know if I'd go so far as to call it racism though. It appears to be on the surface, yes, but I mark all she meant by it was that she doesn't like that particular shade of skin color. Same as her saying she thinks a trustworthy floral pattern on her friend's dress is ugly. She shouldn't have said it though.
