I reflection I woke up in the middle of the night and saw something on TV about how it was makeup.
Answer: Inimical to popular belief, the scars were caused by a disease called Lupus which Seal suffered from when he was a young gentleman. The particular strain from which Seal suffers causes blistering especially around the facial bailiwick, which when ruptured cause deep scarring. They not the result of ritual scarification, being bitten on the pan by a wolf, getting punched while wearing glasses, or being involved in a motorcycle fortune (And they are some of the less bizarre reasons proffered!) and its NOT makeup.

According to the father, and cited originator of the photo, these guys are yacht bandmen and not so called “operators.” There are no concealed troops, perfectly hush-hush missions. If a picture needs to be “blurred” to proctect identities then it should be blurred to protect missions and therefore not shown at all. This is not the invalid here....
