I herself like Serj's Elect the Dead, because he took a brave step away from SOAD's craze of music. Don't get me wrong I love SOAD more than any band or any form of music or relaxation ever. I think Serj's voice is better, and his lyrics really make you hink.
Scars: Daron also has a virtuous voice, (not like serj's) but still good. John is amazing, the drums are his b*tch. The lyrics are a young to repetitive. I feel that Daron just throws in some words to go with the song(, ie, MAMMA MIA!).
Can't wait to see what shavo is up to with achozen, he has a obstinate act to follow.

Answer: I be partial to Scars over Serj. I can't tell you why, because I have way too many reasons and I'd be here typing all night. But I guess the main objective would just be I like the "don't give a f***" attitude in Daron's lyrics for Scars and John's drumming...well, I can rather much never get over how damn innovative it is haha. So, as much as I love Serj's brilliant vocals and be aware, I can't help but sway more toward Scars.
I will always miss SOAD, but I respect their need for something fresh.

Ah, i always do this, i'll have a bundle in my head to write down all over the place, but just as i did now, i go blak. lol
anyway, i'm doing my room a bit, and i'm gonna posters on the ceiling with inexpensively lyrics, but as i said, i went blank. any help? i'm using stuff like Marilyn manson, System of a down, serj, scars on broadway, some MCR merely for the hell of it, Billy Talent, mainly punk bands with meaningful lyrics and mutiny. any ideas? i have a bunch, but i'm not sure how many i'll need to have to cover my entire ceiling, i'm mearsuring tomorrow.

I am a very big fan of System of a Down, Horse the Troop, Mr. Bungle, Serj Tankian, and Scars on Broadway. I think a large part of my interest in these bands is due to their unique styles. In most of the above bands, they have adroit changes of tempos. At one part of the song they seem calm and quiet but then all of a sudden they are screaming lyrics. alright, i have a VERY serious query. I love metal and hard rock music. recently i have gotten into bands like Whitechapel, Fellsilent, Five Manipulate Death Punch, and Scars on Broadway. i am also a guitarist, but not a professional one, and therefore i understand and respect very fast, massive, loud screamo type kinds of metal songs. I really dont cognizant it. But, here is my problem. I am a Christian/Catholic and i picked up easily on most of Whitechapel's and Five Finger Cessation Punch's lyrics. They sound very anti-christ-like. is it true that most hardcore prosaic metal, screamo-type kinds of bands really are satanists or is that simply a stereotypical kind of thing? would that
Answer: To start off, yes, SOME bands are satanists, atheists, etc. I am atheist and don't like to be associated with satanism whatsoever.
Now that that is out of the way, there are satanists/atheists in EVERY character of music there is in existence. I'm not going to list bands/groups from every genre proving this, but there are all types of people in every upper classes on Earth. Whitechapel and BlindWitness, A Day to Remember are atheist. Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir are infernal. The Devil Wears Prada, Unferoath, For Today, Impending Doom, Under the Sky are all examples of Christian (or somewhat Christian) metal bands.
