ok i did my tattoo with medical scissors.
it came oout healthful, i used crayola marker to fill it in.
now its scabbing.
should i pick the scab? i want it to scar but i have a yen for the color to be there still./
thanks =]
no. i did something be like to that i used a needle attached on the end of a chopstick(like the kind that goes in your braids). i used string so that i could control the ink. i just used pen ink and about 2 weeks later the scab demolish off and now ive had my tattoo for 3 or 4 months and it looks really good.
It's been two years since I've lasered my tattoo off (7 treatments), and it left a frightful brown hyperpigmentation scar. I've tried peeling creams but they do not work. If I get it lasered again, will the scar flunkey because it produces new skin cells or what should I do?
See a dermatologist. They have medication strength fade creams. There are other treatments too...here is a good article...
I am planning on getting a tattoo, but the acreage of my body on which I plan to get it is heavily scarred in places due to a mis-spent youth. I was only wondering: a) is it possible to tattoo over scar tissue? & b) does the scarring adversely affect the look of the tattoo in any way?
it is viable to tattoo over scars but depending on how the scar is (raised, smooth, darkly colored, jagged etc) it may or may not succeed out looking like the rest of the skin. also i wouldn't just go to anybody to have it done. i would only cartel a extremely talented artist to tatoo over a scar because as i understand it the texture of the skin is odd and somewhat more difficult to tattoo over. the best thing you can do is to consult an artist. good good break!
Are There Any Complications With Getting A Tattoo Over Scar Tissue?

I have a scar on my disgrace back from surgery I received as an adolescent. I would like to get a tattoo there, in part to conceal the tattoo. The surface of the skin is a little irregular where the scar tissue has formed and I'm wondering if a tattoo design would have to be tailored around the area. Like will ink and tattoo guns travail on the skin area? Thanks.
tattooing over scar pile can be quite painful for you and quite difficult for the artist. however, depending on the design and artist you settle upon, you can definitely better your chances of getting a tattoo which will successfully mask your scar and won't cause you too much suffering. for example, a design which allows the simplest of color, outlining and design to go fair on top of your scar will enable the artist to go over your most sensitive tissue quickly and easily, without creating too much distortion. you can still get a very anfractuous and colorful tattoo to mask your scar--provided, as i've just mentionnned, that simple shading or very few outlines deal with it--.
i recommend you look around for reputable shops with artists known for cover-up tattoos; looking through a number of portfolios will give you an idea of what an artist is capable of, and it may even give you a few ideas for the kind of design/color you'd like. i strongly vouch for you discuss your options with the artist of your choice and have him/her make several designs/stencils (if necessary be) before you finally settle.
Do something with fire and flames.the orange and sulky of the flames look exceptional and you could mix anything connected with the vols in and it would set it off. Cant furnish a PIC but i have a power T on the back of my arm above-board above the elbow. the T is done in a encumbered ebony contour with very understanding shading propitious the character T. then flames start from the bottom of the T and wrap around and go throught...
