Scar Revision?

i have a 2 inch scar in my forhead i like to transfer it by plastic surgery i checked with few doctors in india chennai and every one is telling that the scar can be minimized and cant be removed completly i like to be informed is there any chance to remove it completly ? and like to know better surgeon for scar moving .

Answer: You cannot bump off a scar, to surgically remove a scar you have to make another one. There are certain procedures that can minimize and make them less manifest. You can also use certain scar repairing products or vitamin E oil capsules.

Scar Revision?

I skint my collar bone in half about two months ago because the break wasn't going to renew itself without a plate. I was given the option of removing the plate after the bone is fully healed. There is a harmonious big bump where the edge of the plate is, and there is still some discomfort so I think I will get it taken out. I talked to the doctor and he told me that they will cut the old scar out and decorum a new one where the old one was. My question is: What are some of the best proven ways to make my scar less red, bumpy and visible? This can tabulate any laser scar reduction or creams or strips or anything like that really. How much will laser reduction expenditure?

Answer: I have this cream i use on my pot-belly because i just got my appendix out and it works amazing and fades quick its called scar zone, its like 10 dollars at the neighbourhood pharmacy :) good luck .

Where Is The Best Place To Go For Scar-revision?

I have a lot of paltry scars on my legs from previous surgeries that I would like removed. The scars are located on both legs from the knees all the way down to the ankle. I've been told that this is a "wily" area to do scar revision. I need help finding the best plastic surgeon for scar purge to take a look at my case.

Answer: All you can do is ask around and then 'question period' a few surgeons. They will tell you the truth about how much good they can do for you. Pick one that you like and believe in...but if they utter you they can't really do much...then I guess you just have to hope that your legs are cute enough that the scars don't importance much! ♥

Who Is A Good Doctor In Houston, Texas For Scar Revision Of The Face?

I have 3 sparse ice pic scars (2 on the side of the nose folds and another deep scar one on my cheek). I also wanted to be acquainted with, what are the methods and the cost of a revision surgery. The scars are as big as the tip of a pen or smaller. Should I go to dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon? Please Assistants :)

Answer: Go to the dermatologist first. The 2 smaller scars may be inflexible in his office. I would ask the dermatologist for recommendations. Ask for at least 3 dr. You will need to have consultations with several doctors. Find out what they recommend & the rate. You will feel more comftorable with one doctor. Plus some doctors will make you feel richer reconsider than others (bed side manner). The cost of surgery varies from state to state. Trust this will help you make the right decisions. Good Luck!

I Have A History Of Keloids. I Had Neck Surgery About 2 Years Ago And Am Thinking About Scar Revision?

Luckily, I do not have a keloid, but a hypertrophic scar. I have done injections and laserings, but nothing has helped. I am looking into doing scar revisions (excision). Anyone had any experiences with this?

Answer: No, but do be undeviating to find a doctor who has extensive knowledge and experience working with brown skin.

Most probably different scar treatments exist for all skin types.
