How Much Does Scar Removal Cost?

I have a flat scar right below my eye that is about the size of a whitehead from a car door opening under my eye and leaving a scar.

Do you have any idea what it would cost for a manageable surgeon to remove it, I don't want to waste my time if I can't afford it.

I had facial piercings on my phiz, recently I decided to take them all off,cause I got sick of them, but I now have small brown piercing scars from where the rings utilized to be in and I tried everything to make them go away, so now I wanna know how much it would cost. This is my last resort. Thanks soo much.

How Much Does A Scar Removal Surgery Cost?

i have a 17cm big, 8mm wide scar on my belly cuz i had to remove an ovary due to cancer. i am 22 years old and i have my scar. i scorn my body because of it. i want to remove it but i dont know how much it costs. i need to conserve up some money for it. please help me!!!!

Answer: First of all, scars can't be "removed" only "revised." That is it can be made thinner, but it will still be 17 cms extensive. Even the best surgical revision can only get it to about 3-4 mm wide. The more tissue that is removed, the more anxiousness will be on the remaining skin. Skin tension is what makes a scar thicker.
As far as cost, it would be a few thousand and quite not covered by insurance since it is a cosmetic procedure.
On the other hand, I know a few young women who are proud of their belly scars, because they pose as having their lives saved.
Depends on how you want to think of it.

I have three overwhelmingly scars on my abdomen, they are about 2 inches long each. I got them 4 years ago, and they're definitely here for life.
The scars are affable of fibrous and raised, and also slightly more pink than the surrounding skin. A doctor once told me that they could be removed with paste surgery.
Is this something that could realistically happen (a couple thousand dollars), or is it something that would cost more like $10,000?
