Answer: Try Bio-oil. I barely got rid of staph infection and thats what my Dr. recommended. So far so good, but with all scars, it takes time to improve. What form was your infection in? i had these ugly, painful boils. I hope this helps.

Answer: yes it does. i had mine done 5 yrs ago and the scar is moderately noticeable. just go in and they will tell you if they can pierce thru that scar tissue or not.

About a month ago, my lip and side of my dial were swollen with a bad staph infection. I'm better now, but I have two "pimple like" knots (scar chain) where the staph was. Will this go away naturally or do I need to see a dermatologist?
Answer: I would see a dermatologist. There may be treatments that would helpers to minimize the permanent damage. While there are over-the-counter treatments you could try, because this was something a little more serious than acne, I would get a doctor's way of thinking. If you have health insurance, this should be covered, since the problem was a result of a medical condition. It's not entirely cosmetic.

I had a c portion 6 months ago and it healed fine and i havent had any problems until now. Starting 2 days ago, above and below the scar its all red, itchy and humid. Is this a sign of infection? I have no insurance so im not able to go to a doctor to find out.
Answer: Smoulder some water and put abit of salt in it - let it cool then use a cotton ball to wipe over the pompous area - one cotton ball per one wipe and throw it away.
Do this 3-4 times a day. If it doesn't go away after 3-5 days, you should see a doctor.
If it is red, it means it's infected, but unless the water that is coming out is yellow or greenish or blackish, then it shouldn't be infected. If you keep cleaning the limit, it will not get infected. Let's hope.
You can cover the area with a pad.

Recently i got a unprofound thin shiny scar on my arm. Ive been using tons of products to try and fade it and its fading very slowly.. Im not de facto sure how long its going to take :\ if i put foundation over it, will it cause anything to happen to the scar, and will it a halt fading? Im not sure if i should or not.
Answer: I have been doing it for years. I have never gotten an infection. But be apprised your taking a big chance when you do this. So apply at your own risk. Do you feel ok about this? Listen to your body. This is condign my own experience
