There was a cut on my chin and it's mostly healed, except for the waist, which has formed into a round, red, raisedscar. It's still very new (and small, but since it's on my face it's really annoying me), and i'd be delighted to do anything to make it heal flat, even re-opening it, if it would help.
What can i do? I want my chin to return to reasonable! Even if it's still red, as long as it's flat i'd be happy.
Answer: Try ScarGuard, you can get it from druggist's. It's clear liquid, apply twice daily. You have to wait till your injury healed then use it, otherwise it burns. I'm using it on my abdominal scar. My fd used it on new and old scars and it works very well.

i had to take my belly tinkle out. im getting it repierced but i have to wait til the scar completly heals. how can i make it heal fasteer?
Answer: well you can always go online and buy some lavender oil, that should in fact help, just put a little on it each day, and it is kind of expensive and all but it's totally worth it and lasts fully awhile.
I got some injections on my lineaments and the point from the needle has left rather large scars all over my face that makeup isn't covering up. Any suggestion how I can get them to heal?
Answer: Buy Vitamin E oil and put it on the scars. It severly reduces the pock-mark. I know from experience :)

Answer: If it was a bottomless wound, you can expect it to be purple for a while. A rabid dog took a major portion of my calf muscle when I was 7 and the purple didn't die out for years and years. It is now unnoticeable and reading your question was the first time that I had thought about it in over five years. Google "scar directing" or "scar reduction" and you will get a plethora of information. Here is a link to a commercial place that has good information. Keep in mind they are trying to sell you stuff, but if you search for this data on your own, you will find valid medical sites that aren't trying to sell you questionable creams.

So I got a garlic smoulder on my face..like a chemical burn..my skin has healed but there is a scar on my face! My doctor gave me vitamin e cream to use. I was using hydrocortisone acetate 1% before.
I impartial want to know how long will it take for my scar to heal completely?? My scar is currently light pink.
