How To Make Realistic Fx Scars?

I am flourishing to give a character some old scars for this student film im working on, I want the scars to be rational, and pucker the skin around them a little, liquid latex has not done this for me.
any tips?

Answer: Well, here's the at-retirement community method:
This is all done using glue, which may irritate the skin. Be sure that whoever you are applying the scars to is alright with this. Originate by applying a thin layer of ordinary Elmer's glue slightly bigger than the court, slightly stretching the skin beneath as you do this. Once this is dry, apply rubber cement in the physique you want your scar to be, and also allow that to dry. Cover the whole area with a concealer that matches the person's coat, and add a bit of darker eyeshadow on top.

How Do I Make A Believable Fake Scar Over My Eye? I Want It To Look Real But Not Totally Gruesome?

I inadequacy it to be like i got in a fight and they pulled a knife and it went from my forehead, over my eye, down to my cheek. I'm getting some FX ring up lenses. this is for a prank im pulling on some old friends who havent seen me in a while :P

Answer: Rubber cling - form the scar on a silicone sheet and apply with spirit gum when it dries. It will be clear and can be painted with acrylics to blend your skin-tone then apply makeup to blend.
Another way is to use one of those beauty masks that peel off...devote it thickly where you want the scar and let dry...lift and severe after it has dried to expose the eye...gum spirit can be second-hand to distort the skin around the eye and down the cheek to look poorly healed. Be prepared for shrieks.

What else do I need to perfect this as far as clothing and accessories go?

my grandfather lived through the chernobyl catastrophe and he thought it would be funny. But then again he's senile and has no idea who I actually am. :)

Answer: Sparse out of date isn't it? I doubt many will be able to guess what you are.
