Why Does A Scar From A Surgery 2 Years Ago Still Hurt From Time To Time?

I have 3 incisions along my rib cage from a surgery performed 2 years ago. Two of them healed correctly and are hardly noticeable, but the other one turned into a keyloid scar, protrudes, and is very visible. Every once in awhile, this scar will ache with bother. What is the cause of the pain?

Answer: Its more then probable scar tissue under the skin. I cut my foot open a few years ago and it hurt everytime i stepped on it the advantageously way for about a year to year and a half after that. With a surgery, you may want to call your doctor so they can look at it and see if there is problems with the web.

I Twisted My Ankle 2 Years Ago, Yet I Still Have A Lot Of Scar Tissue Built Up Around The Bone. How To Heal?

I twisted the stomach part of my ankle 2 years ago. Right around where that bump sticks out. Now here I am 2 years later, and I texture completely fine and healed. Yet there still seems to be a huge buildup of scar tissue (or something) surrounding the not enough circular bone that sticks out.
I know all about elevation, icing, compression, ect. But that seems like spontaneous treatment. This is 24 months later. How do I make it go away?

Answer: most undoubtedly laser or creams but i couldn't name any

 
 

How To Reduce The Look Of A 2 Year Old Scar...................?

I have a discoid scar on my upper right pec from surgery 2 years ago, its about 3/4ths of an inch wide, I have been using mederma since the surgery but all that has done was degrade the scar tissue underneath, not restore or help restore it back to the original skin look or let up on the size. Help, suggestions please

Is It Normal For C-section Scar To Bulge Outward And Feel Hard 2 Weeks Post Surgery?

My scar is bulging outside about an inch to an inch and a half across the entire incision, feels hard and irritated 2 weeks proclaim surgery. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it normal?
Nurse from docs office said it could be forming a keloid? Prudent familiar to anyone?

Answer: It will get worse before it gets more intelligent. It takes at least 6-12 months to go down. If you have any fears about it, go back to the doctor, they wil tell you what is normal & what is not.

My Scar Is 2 Months Old, Do I Need To Keep Massaging It?

How extended do u need to massage a scar? Mine are 2 months old now, still red and alittle lumpy. Do i have to massage them or will it all heal in interval?

Answer: It all depends on what you neediness the finished product to look like. It will not heal in time unless actively stimulated the healing system slows and then stops. Contemplate positive thoughts like "grow skin" while massaging.
