I got my ears pierced wtih what looks like 16 calculate earrings if i eventually take those out, will they leave a scar or mark when they heal?

I'm fair-minded wondering if i got a 16 gauge labret how bad would the scar be? i like the off center labrets and i would put a diamond stud in it if i got it pierced... justified trying to research a little before i do anything!

Answer: I've had a 14g labret (1.6 mm) -- bigger than 16g. It cut out and I lost the jewelry and didn't replace it soon enough. There was a little bump for a match up of weeks, and now there is nothing. No scar, nothing. It will completely heal

Answer: No there won't be a distinguishable scar if you take it out now. Also did you go to a professional? Because I don't know anyone with a navel piercing at a 16g. The standard navel piercing is done at 14g so theres a less possibly of rejection. When you get it re-pierced make sure they do it at 14g instead.
