I've had a scar on my kisser (cheek) for almost 7 years and was wondering if anyone knew of any home remedies to eventually remove the scar. It is not that obscure but noticable while having a normal conversation with a person. Mederma did not work so any other references would be vast. Thanks.
Answer: Unforunately If you've had that scar for almost 7 years, its most plausible there to stay and home remedies will not work at this point. I think your best choice is to talk to a dermatologist and look into lazer correction..its a bit costly but it will WORK.

I have a scar on my ear from gauging (stretching the cavern) a year ago. It was a dumb decision, I have a scar now that is almost 1/2 a centimeter in diameter that is raised off the back of my ear only below where the piercing is/was.
the holes closed up a good deal, and i don't mind them but the scar really bothers me, because it's on the back of my ear, and not uncommonly hidden.
if anyone knows how to remove scar tissue or help with this problem, please share

it helps heals scars. also massaging also helps in breaking up scar chain, so try to rub ears atleast once a day.

I had my goad bladder removed yesterday. After the surgery the Dr told my husband he also removed scar chain from my previous appendectomy. That surgery was done over 35 years ago. I didn't have any symptoms so why would he remove that old scar network?
The scar tissue was internal. I was just asking for opinions. I won't see the Dr for 2 weeks.
Answer: I had to have find tissue removed that was 21 years old because the doctor told me it could eventually become cancerous.
