I have acne scars all over my back. Some are faint scars but others are deeper and red marks. Are there any effective home remedies for acne scars

I had acne and got rid of it, but have a few scars.
I miss a home remedy besides toothpaste that works.
It's not a unrivalled solution but, when my face brakes out and leaves scars, I use a scrub (apricot scrub is skilled) and it removes the dead skin cells. It doesn't get rid of the scars but they get lighter.
