Ok, so over the last 5 months my portion has pretty much seen it all! In April I had a double surgery: Tubal ligation U-turn/endometriosis removal, In may was told pap came back abnormal and a week later told I was Capital risk HPV Positive. After 2nd opinion a week later was told that I needed a colposcopy. Results from that showed irritation to cervix. Had cryotherapy 8/2/08. Was doing fine but then had sex with my fiance on 8/29/08 and forgot to go to the bathroom afterward. Shrug off brown discharge 9/4/08 and a few hours later bleed after having sex with fiance, called doctor next morning and was told I have cervicitis. Was settled Metronidazole vaginal gel for 5 nights (starting 9/5/08).
Answer: This sounds like it is associated to cervicitis (an example only but I had a period of two years where I dealt with cervicitis), but I would recommend getting another idea, preferably for a doctor that does not share the same office with the other two doctors you saw, to see what they think could be succeeding on.

Recent Laparotomy - Excessive Scar Tissue??

I had a laparotomy 2 weeks ago. I recently noticed very very energetically lumps right under the incision. I saw my doctor & he said it's normal scar tissue that will "thaw away". Have others experienced this? Is my doctor right? The tissue is hard a s a stagger & quite sore.
Answer: I have a nearly the same problem. They do take a while to start disappearing- I've had multiple surgeries recently (the last 8 weeks ago) and the bumpy bits are only just starting to reduce. To help with the itching/soreness, I've been using elastoplast scar reduction patches- they've reduced the twinge of the scars, as well as making them less visible.

I have a recent society of scars on my back from a fight with skin cancer. I know I have to wait a year to a two years it get it done but I was wondering about the stake of mess-ups over the scar tissue. Also I already have a tattoo on my lower back (yes a tramp stamp) It was one of my friends convincing me one day when we went to make sure of stuff out, but I still love it. Anyways before I go getting something bigger I would like to know how something might age. I am 22, no kids yet and I hope for a large colorful upper back tat. Any info or suggestions will be great! Thank you!
Answer: I own a tattoo and keen shop in Alabama. you are right about waiting....Your skin needs to be healed wholly, before having anything done.Tattooing over a scar and birthmarks has been done successfully. You do need to know though that everyone is different. A tattoo may take on one individual and may not on another. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES. Make sure the person that does it (if you decide to get one) is experienced and has 3 or more years doing tattoos. Ask them questions like, Have you ever tattooed over a scar? What were the results if so ? Do they have a portfolio and can you see portraits of their travail if so. The results vary in everyone. The tat may take color better in the scar than
I recently (2-3 months ago...so I feel not that recent) took out my lip piercing and it has left what I think is scar tissue behind.
It's not on the front of my lip, but behind. So, no one can see it, but I know it's there and it really bugs me.
Is there anything I can do to put out it go away? Does it go away with time?

Answer: umm well if it is there and it bugs u that bad u demand to see ur doctor but it will prob. go away in time..bucause i took mine out ani havent put it back in a year and u cant see the scar at all only if u like get a centimeter away from my mush and look very closely but other then that it should go away..
