I have a scar from a comedo and its purple. It's healed but it's just a purple scar. How can I get rid of it? And why is it purple?
Answer: Sometimes, negligible vessels grow back into a scar area and that makes them different colors. You can apply some Mederma or Bio-oil to the tract which will eventually lighten the color of the scar. You cannot get rid of a scar - this is a permanent injury to your skin - thus the name "scar".

I self harmed a few months ago but the scars are still there it ain't like scars it cordial of stretch Mark looking lines well that colour anyway but the way they're placed I could pull them off ad elasticity marks and I ain't fat anyway! Anytips to cover this up?? And with a tan will they still show?
Answer: You could try having tattoos printed over them. simply a thought

I have a 4 in scar from stitches on my leg. its remarkably dark and i want work on making it lighter. i put cocoa butter on it but i always judge like its not gonna do anything, so whats the best way to apply it.
- is it better to put on before i go to sleep or when i get out of the rain?
-is it better to rub it in or just put a big glop on it?
- is there anything ese i can do to lighten my scar
Answer: cocoa butter wont expropriate lighten your scar. sorry. it's a great moisturizer but not much else. the only thing that will fade your scars is every now.
about sixs months ago i got bit by a dog. i got stiches but they said that they can climax it all the ay because they dont wanna have it infected.i have this scar on my knee and in back of it. its like red/purpleish. im pretty unfailing its not infected but im going to get i checked. i was wondering what would get the color and the scar away FAST! plase supporter me. :[ thanks.
Answer: i have found that vitamin e capsules are very sympathetic. if you take them orally, and break open the capsule and rub the oil on your skin, that can lighten the pigment. it won't renovate it to how it was before, but it will definitely help with the discoloration.
and as far as the infection goes, you can tell you have an infection if the section around the scar is red and tender. i'm sure your doctor will be able to explain it better. good fortuity!
