I have many goodly raised purple scars on my thighs some as much as 5 inches long and 1/2 inch astray resulting from very deep self inflicted wounds and most of which required suturing in the danger room. I am finally in a healthy place and am ready to have them removed. Unfortunately, they are way beyond what any cream could do so I tried looking into types of mark revision like plastic surgery. Would that be considered reconstructive surgery? Are there specific procedures for something like this?

Can You Have Plastic Surgery To Remove Acne Scars? I Need A Treatment That Really Works?

I have several pink acne scars on my shoulders and strongbox. I'm afraid I'm going to have to live with bumps and pits in my back for the rest of my life. Is there any sort of plastic surgery to remove them, like placing the skin or something? I'm sorry, this is just ruining my subsistence.

Plastic Surgery And Scars. What Would The End Result Be?

I have a wound on my forearm and my GP referred me to a Plastic Surgeon to have it removed.
He said that they would cut away the current blemish tissue and then stitch it back up.
He said that instead of my large, wide and raised dent the scar would just be a thin line.

Is this true? I was under the impression that stitches left less large scars.

There are so many different types of stitches that if its plastic surgery then the stitches will look not much different at first but after 6 months it will virtuous be a thin line slightly paler than your normal skin colour. The only time this will ever indeed be noticed is if you get a tan but that can be sorted out by fake tan.
