What Is The Best Way To Treat A Painful Scar?

Hello, 10 months ago I had an anal fissure surgery. The slash took 8 months to close. Now I have a scar which unfortunately is VERY painful. My doctor is not very supportive so I'm doing my own probe. What is the best way to treat it? I would very much appreciate any help. Thank you

Answer: That arena has a tremendous amount of nerves in and around it and you need to remember that the wound will continue to remodel itself earnest for months to a year or more. During this time, you will have pain. Options include using a numbing cream in and around the stretch when the pain is severe, hot sitz baths to reduce irritation, and keeping your stools light and easy to pass. Otherwise, thee is not a lot you can do but it should improve over time.

How Exactly Should I Use Castor Oil To Treat A Painful Scar?

Hello, six months ago I had a surgery. The wing closed already 3 months ago but it is very painful. I've read that Castor Oil could help me to treat it, together with massage. How should I use it and how extended will it take? Any advise would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Answer: If you're scar is painful then it must not healed well or wholly. Scars take a while to heal especially depending on the depth and size. If massage seems to trade keep doing it. I heard about castor oil as well and vitamin e drops, and cocoa butter ( proper)
You said you had surgery, perhaps, its scar tissue inside, apparently is common from certain surgery. Rub down will definitely help this.

God bless

After A Surgery I Have A Very Painful Scar. What Kind Of Specialist Should I Visit?

My doctor says all is in my conduct but that is not true. What kind of doctor should I visit? Thank you.

Answer: After surgery your congress takes quite a while to fully recover. Some of the pain will be intermittent and you won't be able to describe it very well. That is because all the paltry nerves that were damaged through having surgery are regrowing. Eventually the pain will give up but you just have to be patient. Being that your Doctor isn't very sympathetic why not ask another medically trained person for view such as a nurse.
I had surgery for Breast Cancer in December and still have some pain though it is becoming less as time goes by. I also had a Hysterectomy some years ago (Cancer again) and had lots of distress for a few months following that procedure.
Just try not to worry
