Answer: Probe with a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist. The plastics person may recommend a derm to do the employment, or they may do the work themselves.

Not to burst your bubble, but just remember, chances are, the scar tissue will return. It has every term in my case, and the pain is still there.

I've just really had to learn to live with it, although a change in my food and exercise did seem to help. Also, acupuncture was recommended for me, but I haven't had a chance to check into that yet due to monetary issues and an impending divorce. Lymphodema Massage seemed to help me some too.

Painful Scar Tissue On Bump?

I have a scar from a umbilicus peircing that is being stretched by my growing bump! (I had it peirced 3 times in total and my council eventually rejected it it because of a metal allergy I have so its a bit of a mess!)

I'm 39 weeks now and its starting to get painful - scar tissue doesn't in reality stretch.

Is there anything particular I can put on this to relieve the pressure and pain?
it is most definitely healed, the last group was removed well over a year ago (maybe even 2) and the scar tissue is a solid hard lump. nothing to 'do up'.

Answer: I distinguish what you mean!!! I have had my belly button pierced 2 times and now that I am pregnant and getting the collision. It's stretching out. Mine isn't painful it just looks nasty.

I would try cleaning it out with peroxide once a day. It sounds to me like possibly it's not healed all the way through and the stretching is causing it to start getting infected. Try peroxide with a Q-tip once a day for a week and see what happens.

Painful Swelling Will Not Go Down & Scar Tissue Under. Its Been Several Months Had MRI & Nothing. What To Do?

Floor and injured gluteus maximus next to sacral bone. Painful to touch. Some doctors muse on torn muscle, some say it should go down on its own, although its been almost 4months and there is no progress. The MRI did not show anything concrete. How do I get the swelling down to address the scar tissue?

Answer: only put, amputation.

Does Scar Tissue Go Away On The Wrist That Has Formed From Surgery?

I have recently had surgery to take away a dorsal distal carpal ganglion in my wrist. I have been receiving physio remedy to increase movement in my wrist through a number of exercises. They advised me to massage the wrist over the scar and the scar tissue as well. The scar tissue is painful to rub down and after a week of massaging it hasn't decreased in size at all.
What i really want to distinguish is, will it ever get smaller?
Or will the scar tissue always be there?

Answer: Keep massaging it. It helps slit up scar tissue and brings circulation to the area (helping the scar heal more). It may not go completely away, but it also might. It depends on some things.
I do effort on surgery patients to help reduce scar tissue (which can cause pain later on) and it helps an far-off amount more than some people seem to think with both pain and the scar itself. The key is to do it several times a day. If you do it once and a while then obviously nothing is going to be helped.
I make one think you also apply a scar reducer (you can find these in drug stores) to use while* massaging it.

Answer: I wouldn't take it as given so...because they use anistetic to put in the epidural... im sure it would be a lot sorer not to have the epidural
