Our Supple Surgeon said that we should only apply any ointments after 4 weeks, but the instructions for Mederma says that it is crypt to use after the wound is completely healed. It has been 2.5 weeks since the accident. The stitches have all disolved and their is no set in motion wound. Does this mean that is completely healed? Should I start using the consequence now, or listen to the Surgeon? The scar is beginning to turn quite red.

I've been using bio-oil for around a year now 2-3 times a day on scars it seems to have reduced them but it takes forever and plainly mederma is supose to be really good. I have scars on my stomache and i used to get little spots on my back and i have scars there. Sometimes i get serendipitous huge spots and ive got scars from them and they're sort of lifted as well. Will mederma help remove these? Nd how much times a day do you do it?? How long till you see results??
