I yearning to get a surface piercing done (on my wrist, top side). Last year I has my hip done and due to a combination of keloid scarring and an intolerance to the metal it got infected and I had it removed. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to downplay scarring and if its possible to use plastic straight up in a piercing. My old piercer said it was but it depends on who's doing it. Any recommendation?
Answer: If keloid scarring is frequent in your family, I suggest you avoid piercings or tatoos. If you really want to do it, keep your husk moist and relaxed in general to decrease the tension in your skin and muscles. Eat collagen intense foods or take a collagen supplement to help your skin better repair its wounds. Take a multivitamin aimed towards flay health rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Silica, a natural form of collagen.
Will I Be Able To Get Breast Augmentations If I Am Prone To Keloid Scarring?
Question by ♥SUGAR♥ | Posted in Women's Health
I have keloid scars and I am eccentric if it is safe and possible for me to get any plastic surgery but mainly a breast augmentation? Will a doctor polish off my operation with the possibility of keloids?
Answer: A pinchbeck surgeon will not disqualify you as a candidate for cosmetic surgery solely based on your disposition toward keloid scarring. It is, however, something s/he will ask you to consider when weighing the pros/cons of the surgery. You have to decide if the results are merit the potential for noticeable scars.
There are incision sites that would be better than others in this case. You'd very likely want to steer clear of a crease incision because bras (especially underwire) could be uncomfortable with those substantial scars. I'd also stay away from a nipple incision because the scar would be obvious. A control superiors option for you might be transumbilical (belly button)
I have had a keloid on my earlobe from a peircing, one on my leg from a cunning cut & one below my lip from my tooth going all the way through it. I was wondering if I could still get a tattoo because all of these was caused from going all the way throught the lamina. I dont get keloids from vaccinations & minor scars. Please help & notify if you conscious or are a person who has tattoos & keloids.
Answer: It could by any means happen. Ask your dermatologist and your tattoo artist. Usually if you get them from cuts you can get them from a tattoo.

I have a few scars from having moles removed on my front. They are truly obvious due to my light complexion, and I don't feel all that comfortable with them.
Just to make convinced that it is Keloid scarring, it is bumpy around where the stitches were and has not appeared to fade much over the last 12 months.
Can anyone inform me on if it is accomplishable to remove these scars, via laser surgery, or any other form of treatment?
Thanks
