Keloid Scar?

I have a keloid scar on my trunk. I don't know many people who have one. I have looked it up on the internet but theres not many good sites. Ok well anyways, my scar is raised above the peel. And it hurts all the time. Like if i accidently bumped it or whatever, sometimes it hurts out of the blue. It itches bad sometimes, but i cant thirst it because it hurts to touch, so i itch around it and that ends up getting all red. It is so uncomfertable, i cant wear v necks at all, not even low cut shirts, or even most tank tops. Harshly to sleep on my side because it kinda folds up in my skin and that hurts. But my dr told it its something I gotta complete with. I got surgeory once and it just made it

The treatment of acceptance for keloids is usually an injection of corticosteroid drugs such as cortisone directly into the lesion. These injections call the keloid to become atrophic, or thinner, and are repeated every three to four weeks until the keloid has been resolved to the individual's satisfaction. Other therapies subsume laser treatment or radiation therapy, and topical treatments are undergoing bone up on.

How Do You Minimize The Appearance Of A Keloid Scar?

Had surgery a few months ago, the scar is still degree red and puffy, it's probably keloid scarring. Any suggestions?


Answer: There are products made uncommonly for that purpose. Or you could try vitamin E liquid to rub on. If you had surgery, could the doctor tell you what to use? Especially since it is red and puffy. It may have some affront infection in it. If you have had a temperature you should call the doctor and let him know about it.

I got my tragus pierced a Lilliputian over a month ago. Right beside the ring, there is a little bump that looks like a papula, and I believe it is a keloid scar. What is the best way of getting rid of this? Thanks!

What Is The Best Way To Remove Keloid Scar?

I had a out-and-out abdominal hysterectomy about a year and a half ago, the scar from the surgery formed into a keloid. At first, I wasn't task because I thought it will eventually flatten but now I notice that in addition to the itching and discomfort, sometime exacting, it seems to be growing. What should I do? Should I have it surgically removed or is there some kind of ointment that is actually effective?
