Answer: He was born with a cleft pallet and a hare lip. The roof of his way in opened to his nose, and his upper lip was not joined in the center. That has been mostly corrected with surgery. He has one other surgery planned to compact a tiny hole still left in the roof of his mouth. There are times when he has liquid run from his nose if he drinks too licentious.
