Answer: i use an correct called bio-oil. its great for reducing scars and definitely worth the money. It takes about 3 months to visibly reduce them, but its the largest product ive found.

What did you use to reduce scars? How dependable was it?
Answer: Yes- micro dermabrasion cloths occupation wonders!! You can buy one on ebay fairly inexpensively and they DO work. They not only smooth out your abrade but they also reduce fine lines and even out your skin tone. One cloth will last you two years. I've only been using mine for two months and I eschew by it. Nothing else works like this thing does.

Answer: It reduces the redness of scars that are new but it cannot level raised scars, well certainly not in my experience. I've had the best results on a new scar under my nose with Palmers Cocoa butter with Vit E (in the tub). I rub it in every night for about 30 minutes, in 5 days it's reduced the redness and smoothed the cut to a noticeable degree. I still use Bio Oil in the mornings but it's not giving me the results promised.
