I got hit by a stuff a day ago, and I flew around 60 ft if i heard correctly. There is a huge wound on my forehead. How can I prevent scarring?
Answer: Keep it covered and do not let it get dry as this worsens scarring. Gently clean it every day and keep it covered. You might want to use a small amount of an antibacterial cream on it every day as this has shown to heal things faster. DO not use anything toxic like peroxide, hooch, Betadine or stuff like that as this will make scarring look bad. Of course, it really all depends on how well you chiefly heal and what orientation the wounds are in because those that run across the forehead wrinkles will scar worse than those that run along the wrinkles.

I Have A Bad Cut From A Piece Of Glass On My Back. How Should I Prevent Scarring?
Question by hello.mitra | Posted in Injuries
I slipped and flatten on broken glass, and unfortunately, a piece cut right through my shirt and skin. Now I have a lightning connect shaped cut that is about 1/4" deep. (I went to the doctor and they said I might have needed stitches ;x)
I am treating it with Neosporin, but was wondering what I can start applying (topically) to prevent scarring? Is Mederma the way to go, or are there more essential alternatives?
Thanks!
Answer: Hmm...
To be decent, you are going to have a scar no matter what...Mederma is very good, I used the same thing on my wound after my multiple surgeries, I can still see the scar, but it's not as noticeable anymore.
You can use Vitamin E products as well, they will keep from reduce the scar tissue as well.
Only way to permanently get rid of a scar or make it hardly significant is through reconstructive surgery...Or at least wait a few years, and it will just be a little white boundary across your skin.
How can I prevent my cut from becoming a injury? I've been putting neosporin on it, and now it's at the point where it's not bleeding or scabbing but the skin has been pink for about a week. Is there anything else I can do to prevent scarring?
Answer: Maderma works well. Also, keep the courtyard out of the sun for the next few months.
How Can I Prevent Scarring From A Gash On My Nose?
Question by Master Bates | Posted in Injuries
During the winter i had my nose sliced by the side of my snowboard. It was bonny bad with 6 stitches. Its healed now but it still is red and noticeable. The doctor said to make sure to use sunscreen. What else can i do to prevent this hulking gash from turning into a massive scar?
Answer: using vitamin E on the film sometimes helps. Putting the oil from the vitamin E gel caps directly on the area. Sunscreen is a must too. If that doesn't relieve a dermatologist can give you an injection of kenalog but they usually want to wait until the scar has diminished more over era for it to work more effectively.
