How honourable can a LASIK scar be? My parents are wary of my using contacts. My optometrist suggest to go for a LASIK rather. I've heard, it's not a very dependable surgery and it can even lead to a scar around the cornea! What kind of scar is it? Something really visible and horrific?
P.s I'm 19, had a chastisement power of 2.75 the last time I got myself tested, around 4 months back.
Answer: It's surgery, of circuit there's a scar. You can't see it without a microscope (or getting really close and knowing what to look for, I suppose), and it fades after several years. LASIK is mainly considered the safest elective surgical procedure available; it does have risks, but if you go to a trustworthy surgeon and follow the appropriate post-operative care, there's very little unintentionally of anything going wrong. Of course, if you're following your optometrist's advice for contact lenses, there's very spot chance of anything going wrong there, either.

I am recovering from a corneal cancer, the ophthalmologist says that I will have a scar in my eye, and there is white/transparent small spot on my eye that will be the scar. My vision is back to stable because the scar is not in the center of my line of vision, except for the blurring of bright lights. Is there a surgery that can fix he form of this scar/dot? Will it help reduce the lights blurring as well?
Answer: An opthalmologist can laser the scar, but it has the odds of changing your contact lens/glasses prescription. They usually only laser if it is as a matter of fact affecting your vision.
You should just leave it alone and try not to get anymore ulcers!!

Okay about a month ago I was riding bikes and a bee slammed upper under my eye stinging me or at least I think it did, it resulted ina scab that I was exceedingly careful not to pick at but it level off in the shower and formed a darkish like scar, how do I get rid of it? It makes me look as thought I haven't gotten enought drop and is a big differnece to my pale skin.

How would I go about making said scar.
It would be vertical go from the bottom of my eye to about 1cm above my eyebrow.
I don't fall short of to blind myself in process.
Answer: you should never do self-scarification in such a testy place.
i don't even know how you would accomplish this scarring, but you really shouldn't do it yourself.
