What Do I Do If My Episiotomy Scar Looks Torn?

I already have an choice scheduled but my episiotomy scar used to look a lot longer. My discharge has increased a lot. I had my baby 3 weeks ago and the excreting was yellow and slow and suddenly turned bright red and a lot. I am wondering if it is possible that it tore or the stitches came out too in time and it hadn't healed. If so, has that happened to anyone? What did the doctor do?

Answer: My stitches did chance upon out but the doc didn't do anything. Just keep the area clean and it should heal up just fine. I was told to take sitz baths, which merely means to sit in a couple of inches of warm water so that the area can be cleansed. They say not to sit in sea water any deeper because your cervix is still kind of loose and you want to prevent any type of infections in your uterus.
About the bleeding-I bled for 3-4 months after I gave childbirth. All of the doctors told me it was normal. You only want to worry if there is a really bad smell.

Episiotomy Scar Stopping Me From Intercourse?

I am 29 weeks fecund and have developed an episiotomy scar from my previous delivery. I now cant have intercourse due to the pain and the doctor said that I cant be treated while eloquent. is there any other solution? I tried lubricants to facilitate pain to be able to do intercourse but all in haughty. please help.

Answer: I would no more than hold of on the intercourse. you have 11 weeks or less. then the 6 weeks recover. it will be here before you know it. but if you basic it and cant wait there are other things in vaginal intercourse. you could try oral or get a bullet/toy to stimulate other areas. of outside the box if you cant wait. but if your in pain then why do it.

Answer: I do not muse on there is anything you can do. Do not stretch the tissues down there, perhaps you can take some Tylenol. How fast it heals depends on the length of the scar and how well it was repaired by the doc. Keep the parade-ground clean and dry, as much as you can.

13 years after childbirth and mine rips unagreed every time. My gyn is going to cut it back open and sew it a different direction. Is this common?

Answer: I don't have an episiotomy scar, so I wouldn't understand. Ask your gyn about it.

Is it necessary, or just it is enough to eat foods which contains these vitamins and protein? Have any role of Vitamin C and E as well as Protein to condition the cells and tissues of Episiotomy Scar? How does it work?

Answer: The overwhelm thing to do would be to eat plenty of these nutrients in the form of whole foods. They will do their job much more efficiently than those in pill formation.
