I have the chicken pox open now, i'm 19 and i don't want permanent scars! I'm not scratching them at all, i went on anti-itch pills and good tried to resist scratching but i guess i accidentally scratched some. Scratching doesn't seem good anyway because it hurts straight away when i touch the chicken pox. Anyway so i was wondering if they can scar anyway even if i don't damage them? And how often that would happen? Hoping a nurse or something could help me on this!

Answer: im not a keep alive or a doctor but i had chicken pox bout a yr ago and all i can say is DONT SCRATCH not only does it scar it spreads it. I use camoline salve (bad spellin but thats how its pronounced) and that stopped the itchin luckily i only have 1 scar and thats in my eyebrow so no1 noticises it

I had chicken pox last year and i still have scars. I try to tipple 8 cups of water a day and i put oils (cocoa butter, scarzone etc). I also have these weird bumps that appeared after my chicken pox lesions were gone. They look like chicken pox but aren't itchy or anything. They are Non-Standard real weird and i want to get rid of them.
Answer: In global, any scars that persist more than 6 months after the wound heals are permanent.
They still tend to improve for many years... but very slowly, and only incompletely.

I got a receptacle of the chicken pox a lot of years back , and i was only little so i didnt know better not to scratch , and it left me with crater like scars all over my aspect . They majorly bring down my appearance and confidence . Is there any way I can reduce the look of them , or even get rid of them ? preferable without surgery or nothing to the nth degree expensive.
Answer: I have a comparable case with the crater-like scars. You can never completely get rid of scars but can reduce the visibility to the point you can no more than notice them.
Surgery is just something you want to avoid obviously, and lots of products can be very up-market. Neosporin and Mederma work well, but best on newer scars. Since yours are from a few years back, you should stick to using creams well-to-do in vitamins, and keep up with it.
Vitamins C, E, A, K, and B complex and all good for your overall skincare. Shea butter, noticeably from West Africa, are one of the best solutions to diminish the appearance of scars, old and new. You can get Shea Butter creams

Answer: They're very awkward to get rid of and most people just stick with them as they are so tiny. I don't know if it would work on tiny scars but my relative had a huge scar on his arm and bio-oil helped it fade-it really worked, it's surprising.
