Chemical Peels For Acne Scars?

There are these chemical peels they tattle on at zellers for 20 bucks...would they help with acne scars? do you know if they sell any at walmart or anything?

I have a few dexterous questions for getting a chemical peel for acne scars.
1. Does it actually work ? And how well ?
2. Can you get a chemical peel if you still get a few scattered zits here and there.
3. Do chemical peels arrogate at all with acne and/or blackheads ? Or just mainly with scars and wrinkles ?

I'm getting it for acne scars since I no longer get acne and I'm 16 years old.

Answer: Hm, I have no guess but I want to read back on this later to find out. I too am 16 and don't get acne anymore, but have quiet a few of scars.

which chemical peel did you use?
was it effective?
how frequently did you use it?
would you recommend it?

Answer: I went to the dermatologist and he would use chemical peels everytime I would see him (not persuaded which kind sorry). You wont be able to see results in 1 peel you need perhaps at least 10 if I had to guess. & my chemical peels are free. Go to acne.org and ask this question they are better with these questions then yahooanswers. Foresee I helped. (:

I recently had a disagreeable breakout, and am now taking some medications like yaz and an antibiotic to get rid of it, and it is working. however, I have some very light acne scarring, not noticable if I put makeup on, on my cheeks. VERY assault icepick scars I think, or mabe not, but idk for sure that they will go away. I am using mederma, but I concoct I want to kick it up a knotch. Would doing a light chemical peel help me? thanks!
I dont lack accutane. And I wouldnt want to use it either, I know someone who has organ damage from it. My question was about chemical peels. thanks.

I recently had a nasty breakout, and am now taking some medications like yaz and an antibiotic to get rid of it, and it is working. however, I have some very light acne scarring, not noticable if I put makeup on, on my cheeks. VERY graceful icepick scars I think, or mabe not, but idk for sure that they will go away. I am using mederma, but I create I want to kick it up a knotch. Would doing a light chemical peel help me? thanks

Answer: yes, chemical peeling like glycolic acid peeling will refrain from you and it would give you instant result. it may take a couple of sessions to show impressive result but the effect is perceptible right after the first. if you wish to try some natural way, then try this face pack out. take 2 tablespoon of gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon of curd and 2-3 drops of lemon extract.m ix all the ingredients well and apply it all over your face. let it sit for 10 minutes. rub it off with water. do it twice a week. it also gives appreciable results.
