I have a nsty scar on my manual labourer from a deep burn and it's keloided (you know, gotten raised, dark purple and very exceptional).
What is the best course of removal?
Surgical zig-zag procedure or cortisone injections?
It's on the back of my hand just about the wrist and is about 2 inches long, divided into 2 areas about 1/2 inch fully....

Answer: I have watched my dad behave many scar revisions (he's a plastic surgeon)
it's called 'scar revision' he excises (takes out) the scar and sews the circumambient skin back together. you will still have a small scar but the keloid will be gone.

I burned my shell in two places ironing - can you believe it? Anyway now I have two ugly scars on my hands and I don't know what to use to suppose them disapear. Anybody knows laser is the best? Creams? Thanks

I white-hot in New york City and my hands were burned when i was a little girl. Im older now and yearning the scars removed I wanted to know what type of doctor i would Look for, and if anyone had any doctor reccomendations.
From what i was told when i was younger is that i will necessity a skin graft done.
I believe they all it a Hypertrophic Scar
