I am 13 weeks and 5 days fecund.
I had an appointment a week ago for all the lab tests and the breast exam and such. I asked the OBGYN what would encounter with my scar and he said "It'll hurt like the dickens"... At the point I had other questions in my head and it seems its always after I leave that I start to think of more!
My next appointment isn't until August 23 and I'm proper looking for anyone who has been pregnant with a similar type scar (deep) to tell me their experience. & also anyone in the medical soccer field who has worked with a woman with this situation.

Answer: With my first pregnancy (twins) I had an pinch c-section which left a large scar that was knotted with scar tissue. It did hurt during my second pregnancy two years later (apart birth baby) but the pain was never severe. There were several occasions I had to stop what I was doing due to a sizeable stable pulling sensation and some stinging, especially late in my pregnancy. There are support bands close by, check with your doctor to see if this is appropriate.

Answer: That happens to me too and I was told that it was purposes a hair trying to grow up through the scar tissue. You can put antibiotic ointment on it to prevent infection and try not to up to snuff it.

Answer: You don't say what that scar was caused by, but I did see the photo of it. ALL scars appearance scar tissue. Scars do NOT stretch. The tissue in a scar can cause pain regardless of if one is parturient or not. I would ask the dr. if there is any way to help ease any pain in that when the baby is developing and growing to stretch your solidity then. I had a baby and c section and then had a procedure done years later that the old scar had to be cut into for, as that did not stretch.

Answer: The scar should draw. It may be a little painful at times and might change a purplish color. That's what mine has been doing, I exactly rub lotion on it everyday and give it a good massage. It seems to help.
