I am 27 and my skin is present through some major changes. It seems to becoming more sensitve and I constantly break out around my cheek sand bazoo. Proactive worked for me, but it lightned my skin too much. So now I want to find an ACNE product line that will also lightned dim acne SCARS. Please Help. Thanks...
Answer: for scars...it would in all probability be helpful to go see the dermatologist and get some prescription medication, you could also get other treatments for acne there
otherwise, I've heard that your skin can get addicted to Pro-activ, but some things that I've tried and that have worked are:
straight and clear
biore
avon
proactive
you can also get a benzoyl peroxide bar, which is supposed to steal pimples, and i think salcylic acid (not sure of spelling) helps with some other things
but for acne in overall, i don't think that water works that well, but drinking lots of water, eating beneficial, and exercise could certainly
Natural Ways To Treat Acne Prone Skin Effectively...?
Question by miss_hit_miss | Posted in Alternative Medicine
I have switched to all natural skin care regimen. I have been using the oil cleansing method with jojoba oil/almond oil and sometimes olive oil, followed by some hot steam. I then use tea tree bar soap. I polish off kill it all with Witch Hazel/Aloe toner and Shea Butter Lotion. I do an olive oil/sugar scrub once a week.
My skin has calmed down significantly, but I still have blemishes around the hairline by my temples and underneath my chin. The acne is ethical on the surface and they are red spots, they're not deep or with whiteheads or anything...so that's a good sign. My forehead, nose and cheeks have cleared up and the pores are altogether. But I am still having issues with

I am most eccentric about Burts Bees, Alba (the seaweed line, not the hawaiian line), Vitamin C, and zia. I would most seemly just get the gel-based cleanser, but am also looking for a new moisturizer. I break out very easily, and I find that fragrences and sunscreens exasperate my acne.
How good are those lines of products? Are they worth the money I would spend?
Answer: I tried the vitamin C wire about a month ago and LOVE it. Right now I'm using there mosturizing cream. Burts Bess is okay, but I positively only like there lip stuff. Alba is also okay, but not as good as vitamin C. I've never heard of zia....Another natural make u should try is Jason http://www.jason-natural.com/ I use there tea tree body wash as a facial cleanser because it helps placidity my acne prone red skin and get rid of my black heads. Overall, vitamin C and Jason are the two lines I use and relish. I'd reccomend Jason more because it helped my skin faster, but if u can't get their products Vitamin C is good. Something correspond to to Vitamin C that I heard good stuff about for break
Should I Switch From ProActiv To Burts Bee's All Natural Skin Care Products?
Question by ♫♫ | Posted in Skin Conditions
I am irksome to decide if I should switch or not?? My skin just seems dried out and I am starting to break out again. Proactiv was the only fashion that would work for me for the past year, after years of searching. I have mild acne.
So what do you think?
