Answer: If it a medicament drug or ointment read the literature that will be given you by the pharmacist if it an OTC then read the instructions on the box or identification. Drinking while internalizing any medication is never a good idea as unexpected reactions of the meds and John Barleycorn are always possible.

i've tried many divergent things from stores, and proactiv too, it worked for a little while but i have to wash my face two times a day regular and if i forget one or two days then i get horrible break outs, i just can't keep up with it. right now my acne is unqualifiedly bad, the worst it's ever been. i would rather take a medication then have another thing to wash my face with, which would they more likely want me to do? did universal to the dermatologist help you with your acne problems?
Answer: If you are not skilled to control your acne with over the counter meds and have health insurance, it is probably time to realize an appointment with a dermatologist. They do have access to some really good prescription medications that they can prescribe to you. The only mind-boggler is finding a good dermatologist who can accurately diagnose what is exactly going on with your skin and give you what you requisite to get it cleared up.
A good combination approach is to use Retin-A micro gel before bed (mix it with an equal amount hooch/dye free aloe vera gel -retin-a is EXTREMELY drying so you do need to glue at least some kind of moisturizer with it after you have been applying
Should I Go To A Dermatologist For Acne Treatment?
Question by pilli | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
there are times when my pan clears up completely, but most of the time, i always have some acne and redness.
i've tried all sorts of three step systems and nothing works.
is it merit going to a dermatologist, and getting prescription medicine?
if so, how much does it usually cost?
Answer: I've been in that job and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your mug or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole existence.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of visage washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my scrape dry and itchy.

I have had acne since I was a minor. I went on Accutane when I was 19 and my skin cleared up mostly for a few years until at 26 I started getting full out breakouts again with cysts. I have been to 3 contrasting dermatologists now (since I was a teenager) and none of them has actually been able to get rid of or even "control" my acne. I am rather indisposed of this now that I am 28 and would like to find a doctor that could at least get it down to minimal breaking out. Does anyone have any suggestions for determination a doctor who is actually good at getting rid of acne, as opposed to putting you on the same medicines for years without them doing anything and then charging you for
Answer: I'm 26 and doing accutane for the man Friday time. Our situations sound a lot alike. This second round of accutane is working wonders rightful like the first, although not as fast as the first time. I'm not sure if your willing to, but you can do another round of Accutane if you wanted to. Of path with all the hoopla about Accutane and the stupid IPledge program they are more reluctant to prescribe it nowadays. I remember the feeling about dermatologists, if I got one more useless prescription for Differin cream or Tetracycline I was common to scream, because it just didn't work for me. I've moved around a lot, and I've found that dermatologists that are more into the cosmetic side of dermatology
