I gave birth 12 days ago and have always had beneficent skin and hardly any acne. Since I got pregnant, my face broke out a lot and I haven't found any wash or soap that clears it up well. How prolonged will my hormones cause acne now that I'm not pregnant anymore?

Can I Clear Up Hormonal Acne WITHOUT Birth Control Pills?

I am wondering if anyone else has had any fortuity clearing up their hormonal acne without the use of birth control. Is there any kind of antibiotic I can take? The pill helped my acne but caused my whisker to fall out and I had headaches alot. Is there any kind of antibiotic I can take? Or natural remedies for hormonal acne? I am looking for any other alternative but the pill....

Has Anybody Gotten Completely Rid Of Severe Acne With Birth Control Pills?

I have punitive acne. I have tried all sorts of things: all the lotions, potions, creams from the drugstore; direction antibiotics; prescription creams. The prescription antibiotics worked at first, however i have started breaking out again, and my acne is not prevalent away. This is also the second type of antibiotics I have tried. I am 16 years old, and I about I want to try going on birth control to control my acne)

Answer: I did; I has horrendous acne and went on Diane and it went away in 3 months, leaving me with awesome fleece. Around the time of my period i get one (maybe) but totally managable. It is more expensive than some other ones, but wholly worth it! My sister and a couplr of friends had the same problem, and I recommended Diane, they went on it and it worked. Been on it for over 10 years now, and it continues to their heels. Totally recommended.

im 15 and bothersome to clear my acne with birth control . i heard i'd break out first . how long will that last (me breaking out more) and how long until i can see a distinction in my face getting better .

Answer: It depends what strain of birth control pill your on Dianette and yasmin are the only ones that really help acne . The others arn't as actual and can actually make acne worse. Im on birth control pills for my acne at the moment ive been on them for a month now and im already seeing a big improvement . Usually it can take up to 6 months to see an improvement tho .

my dermatologist wants to put me on Yamin or some birth oversight to help my acne. i'm a virgin, and planning on staying that way. have never had any problems with my period or anything. so what are the side effects of attractive the pill? i don't want to have to worry about randomly bleeding. is taking it really advantage it?

Answer: i'd pore over about your fertility first before putting any hormones in your body... you can do things like drinking indisputable teas and changes in your diet instead... read this book called D savvy if you are a teenager... or taking charge of your fertility by toni weschler...
there are other, less invasive and density changing things you can do. your fertility cycle is a very special thing! do the research. i'm overjoyed you are already! but make sure to make an informed decision and don't feel pressured to go on any drug, especially one that changes your hormones.
